The majority of our cars are purchased DIRECT from Motability by our experienced buyers during personal visits and online. Motability supply, via a network of dealers, 1000’s of new cars to individuals who receive a disability allowance from the Government. This allowance is used as a monthly car payment to help them with their transport needs. Over 1.7 Million people in the UK qualify for a disability allowance.

When these cars are 3 years old (or sometimes newer) they are returned. The cars are then inspected for condition and the best cars are offered for sale via Motability’s website to approved dealers, of which North Star Sussex at Sayers Common is one. The cars we offer have not had any modifications.

All of our cars are carefully selected from trusted sources by one of our directors and then inspected in one of our workshops and road tested before being valeted and prepared for retail sale. When sold the vehicles are then serviced, Mot’d if necessary and supplied with our own comprehensive 3 month guarantee that, in the unlikely event of a problem, includes recovery and the use of a replacement car. This guarantee can be extended for up to 1 year.

This combined with our meticulous preparation and extensive guarantee ensures total peace of mind. It is the intention of the North Star Sussex not only to sell our customers a first class used car but to be able to cater for all their ongoing motoring needs. To this end we are able to offer full workshop facilities in several Sussex locations for mechanical repairs, servicing,
M.O.T. testing, valeting, coachwork and paint repairs. We have the facilities to collect and deliver or provide a courtesy car, for a small charge, whilst work is being carried out.
